Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction)

Mandatory entry requirements for this course include working as a site supervisor or assistant site manager in a construction trade occupation such as site carpentry, bricklaying, roofing, or partition/cladding.

The assessment process includes on-site assessments, and the creation of a portfolio based on your learning and workplace evidence.

NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management

The Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management is designed for site managers who want to obtain an NVQ management qualification through a formal traditional course. This course will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out your management responsibilities.

Before enrolling in the course, please ensure that you have read and understood the entry requirements and booking terms and conditions.

The course covers various topics including NVQ induction, health and safety, leadership and management, communication and customer care, environment and sustainability, planning, programming, resources, site logistics, quality, risk, cost, and personal development. It also includes on-site assessments and a final on-site assessment.

The teaching and assessment methods involve classroom tuition, workshops, and support from industry experts. You will be assessed based on the creation of a portfolio that reflects your learning in each session and evidence from your workplace. Additionally, there will be two one-to-one on-site assessment visits.

The mandatory entry requirement for this course is that you should be working as a site manager in one of the following areas: building and civil engineering, highways maintenance and repair, residential development, traditional and heritage building, demolition, tunnelling, or retrofit.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management.

Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management

The ProQual Level 7 Diploma in Construction Senior Management is aimed at senior managers in the construction industry working in a wide range of job roles.

It is also endorsed by the sector body for construction – CITB.
The qualification has been accredited onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is published on Ofqual’s Register of Qualifications.

This qualification is competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units. Assessment is the process of measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against the standards set in the qualification.
The qualifications must be assessed in a work environment and in accordance with the ConstructionSkills’ Consolidated Assessment Strategy for Construction and the Built Environment, and it must be internally assessed by an appropriately experienced and qualified assessor.
Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.
