What Is a First Aider?

A First Aider is someone trained to:

  • Provide initial care in an emergency
  • Respond calmly and effectively
  • Reduce the risk of further injury
  • Support the casualty until professional help is available

First Aiders are often the first point of response in workplace incidents.
